Great news, this month, a laboratory funded by the Nestling Trust was opened at the Baiteshwor Health and Birthing Centre. No longer will patients have to make the long journey to a hospital a day's trek away, to have blood tests or other samples taken for diagnosis. In the past, many conditions would have gone undiagnosed or been diagnosed late, since many villagers were unable to make the journey or could not afford to leave their work.
