Our project will provide work for those families who have lost livelihoods due to the Coronavirus and help ensure sustainability for the Sarangkot Nestling Home for children who have suffered unspeakable traumas and abuse.
The Nestling Trust with Alliance Nepal NGO intend to create protected Pit Greenhouses where crops can be grown without being destroyed by monsoons and other adverse weather.
The children will enjoy organic, nutritious fruit and vegetables, and the surplus can be sold locally with profits supporting the Home. It will also provide opportunities for the children to observe and learn skills of horticulture.
