Why is it important to the Nestling Trust
This has become our biggest fund raising event of the year and is central to our being able to continue our work bringing health care and health education to poor remote communities in Nepal. Funds raised this year will go towards making the now completed Baiteshwor Health and Birthing Centre fully operational so that it can bring safe birthing and medical services to 12,000 people in this mountainous area.
Our target this year is an ambitious £12,000
Key supporters and a philanthropic ‘champion’ have pledged to match up to £6,000 of online donations made to us during the campaign. If enough generous people donate online and release the match funding we hope to reach our target.
