The Nestling Trust would like to thank Karen and her Mum together with all the Knit and Natter group who organised a great Cream Tea and beautiful Handmade Knitwear Sale in the Old School in Market Lavington yesterday afternoon. So much time and effort went into making wonderful, 'must have' children's jumpers, hats, mittens, toys and baby's shawls of every colour, as well many other knitted items. Thank you to everyone who came along despite the wind and rain and made the afternoon such a success. The Event raised £320 which has been given to The Nestling Trust to help make an emergency vehicle access area for the newly completed health and Birthing Centre in Baiteshwor, Nepal. This is a remote mountainous village community of about 12,000 people, that previously had no birthing facilities. We are most grateful, thank you.
