She devoted her life to the service of the people and was the longest-ever reigning monarch of our country.
For an incredible 70 years she has been Queen of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth and was highly respected around the world, setting the highest standards of dignity, commitment and humility. Above all it was her ability to communicate with people, putting them at ease with her warmth and genuine interest.
